Why This Role Matters

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Talent Director to lead and build an integrated North American talent strategy. Reporting to the North America HR Vice President, this highly visible role will oversee talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, talent reviews, and early-career programs. The ideal candidate is an analytical, business-minded HR leader with experience building scalable talent programs in a geographically dispersed, technical, industrial, engineering, or professional-services environment.

How You'll Contribute
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive North American talent strategy and annual roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Provide strategic leadership for talent acquisition, including recruiting strategy, workforce planning, recruiting processes, candidate experience, and performance metrics.
  • Build scalable learning and development programs for employees, managers, and leaders.
  • Design and lead a consistent performance-management and annual review process, including manager training, tools, communications, and governance.
  • Develop leadership-development programs for multiple organizational levels.
  • Establish succession-planning and talent-review processes to identify high-potential talent, assess bench strength, and strengthen leadership pipelines.
  • Design and lead a structured internship and early-career talent program.
  • Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to translate organizational priorities into practical talent solutions.
  • Establish meaningful talent metrics and use data to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities, and guide decisions.
  • Lead talent initiatives from concept through implementation while creating structure without unnecessary bureaucracy.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources and/or Talent Management experience.
  • 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience, ideally supporting business or operational leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and recruiting.
  • Strong experience in learning and development and leadership development.
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing performance-management and performance-review processes.
  • Experience building succession-planning and talent-review programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leadership.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and personally drive initiatives through implementation.
  • Experience building or transforming a talent function in a geographically dispersed, multi-site, technical, industrial, engineering, or professional-services organization is highly valued.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10–15%.
